About 8 years ago, as I was squatting down to dust my furniture, I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my left knee. At the time, I didn’t really think much about it. I continued to clean my home. However, a week later, I knew something was terribly wrong. My knee began to swell. A visit to an orthopedic doctor revealed that I had a torn meniscus. I underwent knee surgery. Unfortunately, my knee continued to swell after the surgery. And, it still swells to this day.
